We are AOC Health Services, LLC, a dynamic new company offering nurse support services for you and your family. Our services do not require an order from a physician or other practitioner, but they are not eligible for Medicare coverage. These services are available to all at a nominal fee.
Welfare Checks
If you have a loved one who lives alone, with others or in an institution (Nursing Home) and you are concerned about your loved one’s well being, we can do an independent health assessment/welfare check for you. We will assess mental and physical health, safety, and general well being and report our findings back to you.

Patient Advocacy
We will provide nursing support for MD visits, medical appointments, diagnostic instructions, etc…If you don’t have someone to accompany you to an appointment, we can help. We will meet you at your appointment, ask questions for you, and explain any information discussed. We will be there to support you when your loved ones cannot.

The American Hospital Association (Jul. 5, 2022) reported that The Kaiser Family Foundation released an analysis of CMS (Medicare) data indicating that approximately 18% of in-network claims were denied by health plans sold on the Marketplace. Health Plan Insurance Appeals

Health assessments are assessments done by a licensed nurse to help identify the health needs of individuals and families. The assessment includes mental and physical health, safety, community resources, and financial support services. These assessments are great for pre-discharge planning and transitions between home and institutions, like Skilled Nursing Facilities. We will help you maximize community resources and health plan benefits.

Surgery Surrogate
You don’t have to go to a day surgery procedure or have a diagnostic test alone. If you are ambulatory and you need someone to accompany you to a procedure due to anesthesia or sedation, we can assist. We will provide you with a surgery escort. We can provide drop off/pick up service or we can provide wait services, up to 2 hours (extra charge).
If you cannot find a friend or family member who can accompany you, try our services. Our services are great for minor eye procedures, colonoscopies, MRI sedation, chemotherapy and biopsies.
**Please note, you must be independent with your care. We are not equipped for medical transport. Also, we do not provide nursing services such as medication administration or dressing changes.

AOC Health Services offers general health education classes for you, your family, and your community on a variety of health topics. Classes are typically and hour long and can cover topics like Diabetes, High Blood Pressure, Tube Feedings, COPD. Education on most health topics can be obtained for free through various community resources, but if you cannot find the help you need, please contact us for assistance.
